Jesus is God but not God the Father.
1Jn4:14 …the Father sent the Son.

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I LEAVE the world, AND GO TO THE FATHER.
I (Jesus the Son) and the Father are one.
One God not one person.
Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
